Full-Spectrum Doula Care

I support all bodies in a variety of life transitions including birth, loss, abortion, and gender affirmation. My primary goal is to make sure the families and individuals I work with feel safe, encouraged, and respected in their journeys.


Types of Doula Care

  • Trained in providing emotional, physical, and informational support to those considering, seeking, or undergoing an abortion, before, after, and during the procedure.

    Can include…

    • Answering questions about the process;

    • Addressing myths and misinformation;

    • Offering physical, emotional, and other soothing support help ease any pain, anxiety, or discomfort; and

    • Helping people get childcare, plan meals, and offering transportation and other types of support needed to be able to access abortion

  • Providing support to families dealing with grief and loss due to a miscarriage, stillbirth, adoption loss, surrogacy loss, terminal diagnosis, or other pregnancy-related bereavement.

  • Support in the pregnancy stages leading up to, but not attending, your birth;

    Can include…

    • Transportation and/or attendance to doctors’ appointments

    • Compile list of resources and services

    • Help create a birth plan

    • Attend childbirth education and other classes alongside you

  • Providing different types of support to pregnant people during the various stages of pregnancy. To be your advocate, and empower you to make decisions around pain management and support you in emergency situations.

    Includes…

    • Help create your birth plan

    • On-call from 38 weeks onwards.

    • Be with you during labour and delivery;

    • Providing support with pain management, moving through labouring positions,

    • And cheering you on!

    I attend home and hospital births, belly/c-sections, and bottom/vaginal births.

  • Specialize in taking care of birth givers after birth; provide physical and emotional support to assist the whole family to adjust and settle in, making the early days back home a little easier.

    Can include…

    • Feeding, changing, and soothing of baby while you rest and refresh however you may need to;

    • Support with household chores (meal prep, dishes, laundry);

    • Watching baby while you run errands or are otherwise out of the house;

    • Debriefing your birth

    • Sharing feeding tips and tricks;

    • and more!

    In alternative pregnancy outcomes not resulting in birth or bringing baby home, my role is to gather information, offer physical and emotional support, and aid in post-procedure care. I will help you sort out your wants, needs, and preferences, never to judge you, or the choices you make.

  • A (trans)ition doula is a caregiver and companion for people who are queer, trans, gender nonconforming, nonbinary, or otherwise seeking gender-affirming care.

    Can include but isnt limited to…

    • Compiling resources and referrals that center QTGNCNB+ health care.

    • Attending hormone shot trainings with clients in order to help or support them during self-injections.

    • Helping clients or their care network before and after surgical procedures.

    • Being trauma-informed, compassion-centered for clients in need of nourishment, wellness, and recovery support.

Packages & Pricing

  • Postpartum Package: $1200

    • 39hrs over a 6 week period (includes 4.5 bonus hrs over hourly care)

    • Maximum 20hrs/week

    • Daytime or overnights

  • Birth & Labour Package: $1200

    • 2 prenatal visits, including birth plan

    • On-call from 38 weeks until birth

    • 2 postpartum visits

  • Sliding Scale Hourly Rate: $30-35/hr

    • Perfect for those needing intermittent support

    • Available for most types of doula care

    • Not applicable for birth & labour support
